The holidays are a time for memories – for shiny memories from our past and for the storing up of new ones for the future. I think that for most people, each Thanksgiving, or Hanukah, or Christmas is really a collage of holidays past that gets richer year by year, as the memories stack up and become the fabric of what we mean when we say "Happy Holidays."

Act One Guild's Sixth Annual Candlelight Dinner Raises Thousands for PACE

Nearly 400 enthusiastic guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and dancing to Portland-based band Pink Martini's internationally renowned, cosmopolitan music at the 2009 Candlelight Dinner – A Toast to PACE: An Evening With Pink Martini.

Act Two Guild Announces Second Annual Fundraising and Fashion Event

The Act Two Guild has announced details of its second annual fashion event to benefit PACE. Silhouettes of Style – Talk of the Town is scheduled for Friday, April 16, 2010 at The Westin Bellevue and will treat guests to a dazzling runway fashion show featuring the hottest new styles of the season.
