Parties For PACE
Over the past few months, friends of Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE) have hosted Parties For PACE as a means for sharing our plans to bring world-class arts and entertainment to the Eastside.
- In February, Cathy and Kurt Springman hosted more than 20 friends in their Bellevue home in Newport Shores. Chuck Lytle, Campaign Co-Chair and PACE Board member, joined John Haynes, Executive Director and CEO of PACE, at the Springman Party to talk about the important resource PACE will be for arts education, economic vitality, and cultural enrichment in the region.
- In early March, Gillian and Vincent Fernandes opened their home in Redmond to a group of close friends. Alka Badshah, PACE Board member, spoke passionately about the importance of PACE and the opportunity for their friends to take a leadership role in building a community that will provide the best educational and cultural opportunities for our youth and future generations.
- In late March, Campaign Co-Chairs Karen and Chuck Lytle and Betty and Kemper Freeman hosted a gathering for executives whose businesses are located in the Bank of America building at Bellevue Place. They had a chance to meet with PACE Board, Campaign, and staff leadership to discuss the plans for the neighboring project and its future impact on the downtown area.
All three Parties proved to be ideal for making new friends and providing information about the future 2,000-seat performing arts facility and its benefits to the community.
Our goal is to reach out through Parties For PACE to the future audiences we will serve on the Eastside—from Renton to Mill Creek and the area east of Lake Washington to the Cascade foothills—to build support for PACE.
