Performing Arts Center Eastside

A Night of Food, Fashion, and Festivities: A Celebration of PACE

The evening of June 23rd was an exciting 'night on the town' experience as Nordstrom and El Gaucho honored Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE) donors, business partners, Directors, and community leaders with an event devoted to the best Bellevue has to offer in food, fashion, and the arts. Nearly 130 guests enjoyed a gourmet three-course dinner, courtesy of El Gaucho, while viewing an Armani Collezioni Men and Women Fall 2009 fashion show presented by Nordstrom. The evening concluded with a special PACE performance by award-winning pianist Jacqueline Schmidt, who also entertained during the cocktail and dessert receptions.

As Event Co-Chairs, Karen Lytle and Karen Surace-Smith shared their enthusiasm and excitement for PACE and their appreciation of both Nordstrom and El Gaucho for making this event truly memorable. John Haynes, PACE Executive Director and CEO, also addressed the guests, expressing his appreciation for ongoing and future support while sharing updates regarding the completion of the Design Development phase. New PACE models were on display to give attendees a sense of what the downtown reality will be, once Bellevue is home to a world-class performing arts center that is the cultural heart of the region.
