Clark Nuber Announces $100,000 Gift to PACE
BELLEVUE, WA (May 7, 2007) – Dave Katri, CEO of Clark Nuber, on behalf of the shareholders of Clark Nuber, recently announced the donation of $100,000 to the Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE). The announcement was made during the Bellevue Rotary Club's Auction benefiting PACE. The event was held Saturday, April 28, 2007 at The Meydenbauer Center.
In announcing the donation to over 600 Bellevue civic and community leaders attending the Bellevue Rotary dinner and auction, Katri said "Our firm is celebrating its 55th year on the Eastside and many of our clients are associated with leading the charge of taking PACE from a vision to a reality. We applaud their efforts and want to partner with them in this key initiative for our community."
He went on to add, "We believe that PACE will provide a catalyst for strong economic growth for the entire Eastside and provide rich cultural opportunities for our residents for years to come. Our gift is our way of saying thanks to the Eastside business community and is a special recognition of Bob Nuber's long-standing commitment to community service."
"Clark Nuber has demonstrated its leadership in this community for the past half century," said Randy Talbot, president and chief executive officer of Symetra Financial and corporate division chair for The Campaign For PACE. "Once again, they have stepped forward to advance the Eastside community with this outstanding donation to PACE. They, like us, believe that the Eastside will benefit tremendously from the addition of a first-class performing arts center. Clark Nuber is setting an outstanding example and we applaud their efforts to help make PACE a reality."
"We cannot thank the shareholders of Clark Nuber enough for this wonderful contribution to PACE," says John Haynes, executive director and CEO. "Their contribution is another important step toward making PACE a reality in our Eastside community. PACE is poised to become the cultural heart of the Eastside, and that potential becomes more probable with every expression of faith from people like the visionary partners at Clark Nuber."
