Re: Performing Arts Center on the Eastside (PACE)
Dear Governor Gregoire:
During the formation of your 2007 Capital Budget, we respectfully request the inclusion of $9.5 million in grant money to support the Performing Arts Center on the Eastside (PACE) project, located on the Eastside of Lake Washington.
As you can see by the numerous signatories of this letter, this project extends well beyond party affiliation. As community leaders, we recognize the significance of such a project and its potential influence on our region of the state, and have vowed to work together to ensure it receives the full support of the Legislature in the upcoming legislative session.
We hope you will join us in support of this very worthy project and look forward to working with you in this endeavor.
