Dear Skip,
On behalf of Village Theatre, I am pleased to offer my support for Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE). As Executive Producer of Village Theatre, and managing executive of performing arts facilities in Issaquah and Everett, I understand particularly the need for Bellevue to have a flagship performing arts center to serve its residents and the surrounding community. With a well developed programming concept and business plan, PACE can attract audiences and serve its community with cultural opportunities which are currently unavailable on the Eastside.
Village Theatre would potentially experience the following specific benefits of PACE:
- Expanded arts audiences in Eastside communities can increase awareness and demand for additional cultural experiences, thus translating to greater patronage of Village Theatre productions.
- Potentially offer a venue for our Pied Piper Children's performance series which are currently presented at the Theatre at Meydenbauer
- Provide a venue for performing arts education programs offering a wonderful performance experience for their students
- Provide an opportunity for Village Theatre to create a holiday show which could be presented annually at a large Bellevue venue
I see the Performing Arts Center Eastside as an excellent potential collaborator for Village Theatre which will complement our theatrical offerings with additional cultural opportunities for Eastside residents. As the management staff at PACE is selected, I see the potential for a mutually beneficial relationship developing between the two organizations. I believe both can prosper to the benefit of audiences in the region and beyond. Please accept this letter of support with my endorsement.
Sincerely,
Robb Hunt
Executive Producer
