Dear Skip:
Please accept my avid support for Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE). As Executive Director of PONCHO I understand particularly well the need for this kind of large-capacity facility, which will make world-class arts and entertainment more easily available to Eastside audiences.
I am looking forward to a performance center that:
- will be a prominent and visible reminder to all that the arts are alive and flourishing on the Eastside
- will inspire artists and potential artists through the presentation of performances at the highest level of artistic achievement
- will serve as a gathering place for Eastside residents and reinforce the importance of building community and strengthening our neighborhoods
- will provide expanded performance, classroom, and rehearsal space to support arts education and community outreach efforts.
- will reach new audience members who have not been able or wanted to travel to downtown Seattle for performances.
PONCHO'S goal of supporting great art and artists throughout the state of Washington will be advanced with the completion of Performing Arts Center Eastside. Please accept this letter as support of PACE and improving access to the arts for everyone.
Gordon Hamilton
Executive Director
