Re: Capital Budget Appropriation Request
Dear Governor Gregoire:
As you are working on your Capitol Budget, I want to bring to your attention the Performing Arts Center on the Eastside (PACE) project, located on the eastside of Lake Washington.
This project has built bridges across the political landscape, bringing a number of diverse constituencies together as never before, building coalitions and community. A bipartisan group has been working across party lines to make sure PACE goes forward. It is something we can all get behind and work for together.
I will be working with other legislators during the upcoming session to request $9.5 million in grant money to support PACE. We hope you will join us in support of this worthy project.
