Community Outreach
There is a growing understanding that the arts are a means to enhance our sense of place and identity as a community, to support our young people, to educate and entertain, and to attract the best and brightest to our schools, businesses, and civic life. PACE will be an important resource for arts and education organizations on the Eastside and around the Puget Sound region. It will have a profound effect on how we feel about our community and how others see us. It will have a profound effect, as well, on us as individuals, on our families, and on the regional and local performing arts organizations we treasure.
The Campaign For PACE will create an unparalleled facility that will attract performers of the highest caliber. Our goal, through a wide range of PACE activities, is to educate and engage elected officials, philanthropists, civic and corporate leaders, and the broader Eastside community about the need for and the value of PACE. There are many opportunities for volunteers to assist in the outreach effort.
Act One Guild
The mission of the Act One Guild is to propose, plan, organize, and implement events, performances, and activities that raise funds and support for PACE; to cultivate, within the community, an environment of cultural awareness that sparks and promotes the initiatives sponsored by PACE; and to foster an experience that is enriching and artistically edifying to all Act One Guild members.
Ambassadors For PACE
Ambassadors For PACE is an association of people from all segments of the Eastside community: business and civic leaders, retirees, students, artists, and many friends. Each Ambassador works to build support and create awareness about PACE and its value to the community. What unites them is the belief that PACE will bring economic, cultural, and educational advantages and enrich the quality of life on the Eastside.
Parties For PACE
The purpose of Parties For PACE is to build awareness, make new friends, and raise money for the Campaign For PACE. Many friends of PACE have stepped forward to host cultivation events in their homes, workplace, or other preferred location.
Voices For PACE
PACE believes strongly in building partnerships. Currently, leaders of arts organizations, government agencies, corporations, and educational institutions throughout Seattle and the Eastside have written letters of support for PACE. These letters, which collectively we are calling Voices For PACE, express excitement for the coming 2,000-seat performing arts center and the many ways in which it will positively impact the arts on the Eastside and throughout the region.
