Ways of Giving

Your gift is important to the success of the Campaign For PACE. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Immediate Gifts

A gift of cash is the simplest and most direct means of contributing to the PACE Campaign. Contributions by MasterCard, Visa, wire transfer, or check (payable to PACE) are welcome.

Pledges

To increase your ability to make a substantial gift to PACE, consider making a pledge now with payments and tax deductions spread over a number of years. Payments can be scheduled according to your needs and pledge periods can extend up to five years.

Gifts of Securities

A gift of appreciated securities may be more favorable than a cash donation. Stock, bond, or mutual fund gifts are particularly attractive if you have owned them longer than one year and they have increased in value during that time. You will receive a charitable deduction for the value of the securities, and you will not have to pay any capital gains tax on the increased value of the donated shares [more information].

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Find out if your company has a matching gift policy by contacting your employer's human resources office.

Planned Gifts

Planned gifts typically come from a donor's assets rather than income, and can be either outright or deferred. Planned giving vehicles include: direct transfers of various assets, bequests, beneficiary designations, charitable trusts, and other arrangements. Planned gifts are usually designated to the Endowment Fund, and are a great way to support PACE in the future. Such gifts may even increase your own cash flow. By making a planned gift you become a member of PACE's Twenty-First Century Society.

Remember, a well-structured planned gift may provide the following benefits:
